With adaptive AI technologies, students will be provided with unique stories conveying mathematical concepts

Students will be adaptively served with stories based on their interests and conceptual understanding level. Math stories will be classified into three levels based on the number and complexity of the spatial and numerical relations included in the math story. Based on students’ competency level, stories of a suitable level will be automatically selected. Students will unlock the creation feature after achieving the advanced understanding level.

ARTMATH PROVIDES EACH STUDENT WITH SUPPORT THAT ADJUSTS BASED ON THEIR NEEDS

Students will be scaffolded to generate questions that they may never have the opportunity to investigate in a regular math classroom, such as “I like ocean waves; can we create a number line with a wave that communicates the same information as the straight line?”. The main role of AI in scaffolding is to detect if students need scaffolding and the type of scaffolding that would be most beneficial, as this can be challenging for teachers to do for all of their students one-on-one. Our AI system will help automatically identify students’ needs based on their engagement status and inputs.
